I'm a language teacher (French and Japanese), university study abroad program coordinator, radio host and dilettante personal trainer in Washington state. This site is my attempt to have a space to share the things that interest me most: politics and sociology (Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, et al...though I'll look at ideas from anywhere), fitness, weightlifting and nutrition, languages, sports (soccer, American football and rugby...I can't sit through a baseball game to save my life) and, last but certainly not least, travel.

 So, look around, see if there's something that interests you, contact me if you feel like it, and then go out and do something kind for a stranger for no reason.  Or call your mom and tell her you love her.  Or tell your kids you're proud of them.  The world could use more of these things.  A lot more.
